5.1 Campus map The Cergy campus is one big building broken into wings. Once you know the 5 anchor points, you can find anything. ### The 4 spots you need to know • K-Lab: The library. Open 24/7 during exams. Study heaven.

• Cafétéria / Le Resto: Main cafeteria with subsidized meals
• Foys: The student bar, run by the BDE. Pay with Lydia. Tuesday/Thursday nights = the vibe. --- • Amphis (A, B, C, D...): Lecture halls , written on top of every door. Your schedule tells you which one. --- ## 5.2 ISIC student card This card is everything. Access, printing, vending, cafeteria discount, library, gym, international discounts. Don't lose it. ### How to order a new one: • Log into My.
• Go to My Registrar and Funding → My Registration.
• Click My ISIC card → Renew my ISIC card.
• Tick "I want to order a new ISIC card" and pay online (€25, Visa or Mastercard). --- • You'll get a confirmation email. SAVE IT. Security will ask to see it every time you enter campus until your new card is ready.
• New card is ready in 1-2 weeks — pick it up at the Registrar's office in the grand hall ### What it does • Access: Tap to enter campus doors, K-Lab, certain study rooms. You'll need it EVERY day.
• Printing: Tap on any printer.
• Vending machines: Tap to pay, only in the A building
• Worldwide: Show it abroad for student discounts, museums, transport, attractions. --- ## 5.3 Campus facilities ### K-Lab (Library) • Where: Main building, top floor area (follow the signs from Galion).
• Hours: Mon-Fri ~8h-22h.
• Use it for: Quiet study (silent zones) + group work (booking rooms via My). Free printing/scanning.
• Book a room: Download the Affluences app → search → reserve study rooms, group rooms, or Zoom/conference rooms straight from your phone. Also shows how full the K-Lab is in real time. --- ### Cafétéria / Le Resto • Lunch: 11h45 - 14h, full menu ~€6.90
• Other spots: Foys you can find quick sandwiches which cost 3,80 or Pasta Lab in front of Foys where they sell pasta(the small size cost 5, the medium cost 6 and the large cost 7. And you pay a extra 1 euro if you add a desert and a desert). There is also chez maurice at the cosmos BDE local where they sell paninis and drink. ### Mail service • Where: Reception desk (Galion entrance). --- • Use it for: Receiving packages, Amazon, letters and admin mail. Address them to: Your Name, Business School, 3 Av. Bernard Hirsch, 95000 Cergy.
• Pickup: They'll email when something arrives. Show ISIC to collect. ### Luggage storage • Where: Near reception (ask at the desk).
• Use it for: Storing your suitcase between residence move-outs and flights home, or when traveling and leaving stuff on campus.
• Free for students. Bring your own padlock. --- ### Reception desk • Where: Entrance in the main hall upstairs
• Use it for: Lost ISIC, lost & found, package pickup, calling student services, generally any "who do I talk to?" moment.
• Hours: Mon-Fri 8h-19h, Sat morning. --- ## 5.4 Wifirst & IT ### On campus: Wi-Fi • Network:-Étudiants
• Login: Your email + password (the one you use for My). ### In residence: Wifirst • What: Internet provider for residences. You need to pay extra, not included in the housing.
• Setup: Go to wifirst.com → create an account with the activation code in your welcome packet (or ask reception). --- • Speed: Decent for streaming + Zoom. Upgrade to Wifirst Premium if you game or do video calls a lot. ### IT problems • Where: A006 in the ground floor, near the big amphi
• Common fixes: Wi-Fi reset, password reset, printer issues, Mybugs.
• Email: dsi@essec.edu (response in 1-2 days, faster in person). --- ## 5.5 Sports facilities & gym ### MovEssec - Your mandatory sport sessions 1st year only Every student has to complete 10 sport sessions to validate the year. The good news: it can be ANYTHING gym, yoga, boxing, dance, pilates, group classes, team sport. Pick what you actually like, you don't have to suffer through 10 weights sessions if that's not you. • How to book: Affluenences → Sports and recreation → MovEssec → Reserve
• Deadline: There is a cutoff date. Check it the first week and put it in your calendar. --- HEADS UP — Finish these AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE. Close to the deadline, every spot is booked solid because everyone procrastinated and now they're panicking. ### Sports Center (on campus) • Where: Sports building, short walk from the main entrance (follow signs).
• Includes: Gym (cardio + weights), group classes (yoga, boxing, dance, pilates), team sports (basketball, football, volleyball, handball).
• Price: Free / very low cost with your student status. --- • Book it: Download the Affluences app → search → reserve gym slots, classes, and equipment. Same app as the K-Lab booking. ### Sports associations The school has 30+ sports clubs (BDS = Bureau des Sports). Most do tryouts in September, football, rugby, tennis, equestrian, sailing, ski, climbing... pick one and join. ### Off-campus gyms in Cergy Gym · Where · Price • Basic-Fit Cergy · Cergy Préfecture (5 min walk) · ~€20-30/mo, 24/7 access

Don't mute it (admin announcements). ### Facebook • Buy/Sell: Second-hand furniture, books, kitchen stuff. Cheap. Use this when moving in.
